The pebbled beach is a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment, depending on whether you get distracted by the many provencal shops en route. If you prefer, you can pay to use one of the private, sandy beaches along the Promenade.

Alternatively, Antibes, Villefranche sur Mer, Juan les Pins or Cannes all have sandy beaches and are easily accessible by train.

Getting around Nice is easier than ever - the tram system is excellent as is the Vélo Blue (bicycle rental system).

You really don't need a car here as you are so centrally placed in Nice and the SNCF central station is less than a 5 minute walk away. The train line has excellent links to Italy, Monaco, Eze, Menton, Antibes, Cannes etc.

If you are driving the auto-routes are excellent. All the major car rental companies are at the station, 5 mins away.

​

There is so much to see and do you will need several trips to do it all. You can get away into the mountains for skiing or walks, the promenade and beaches, the art galleries of St Paul de Vence, Villefranche, Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Grand Prix - it's all just a short trip away.

​

Local restaurants, a little bar, a mouth-watering greengrocers and tasty boulangeries are all on your doorstep.   Banks, a range of shops - everything you could possibly need are within a 10 minute walk.
